Baan Kong Homestay

The place has a special, welcoming atmosphere and was exceptionally clean. Every morning, there was fresh fruit, two new bottles of water and coffee sachets on the terrace outside our bungalow. The staff were attentive and genuinely helpful. When we got sick, they brought us plenty of bottles of water. A few of the main temples are close by. We can only echo what Tomasz wrote before: it's extraordinary.

It's right in the heart of the city, with everything easy to reach, yet nights were peaceful and quiet. The internet was fast and reliable, and the staff were wonderful, attentive and genuinely helpful. The atmosphere felt special and welcoming, and everything was exceptionally clean. An extraordinary place.

The bungalow had lots of character and everything we needed, and we were sorry to leave after a really good stay. Each morning they left a plate of fruit outside for us, such a nice touch. I'd recommend renting a bike and taking a big loop around Ayutthaya.

A sweet older woman handled our last-minute booking in the middle of the night like a champ. In the morning, she gave us a whole comb of bananas and a paper map of Ayutthaya. The homestay is very close to a street full of tests and cafes, with a fantastic view of the temple ruins. The rooms are comfortable and interesting, with the authentic feel of old Southeast Asian wooden houses. Music from a nearby bar might carry over, though that's not the property's fault. We had a nice stay.
