Nakara was one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in Thailand. Chris was a super nice host, and the place was really clean and relaxed. It’s in a perfect position, close to all amenities, and you can hire a bicycle too. I had an amazing time here!

There weren’t many other travelers around, and I don’t know why everyone isn’t staying at Nakara hostel. Chris was so kind and helpful, offering suggestions on where to go and even booking our bus ticket to the next destination. Our room was comfortable, we could use the bikes, and we had all the water we needed. We had a great stay, and I’d recommend going.

The night market is only a three-minute walk away, and the train station is close too. I only stayed one night, and the hostel felt almost empty, so it wasn’t very social. But the host more than made up for that: he was so friendly, helped me figure out the trains, shared tips for Ayutthaya, and even took me for coffee at a lovely nearby farm before dropping me at the station. The rooms and shared spaces were clean, and my private room had air conditioning and a wonderfully firm mattress. You can rent bikes to explore the area. I’d definitely recommend it.

The owner even treated me to breakfast, and the internet really was as fast as promised. It’s a peaceful, lovely hostel right in the city center, with very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely book if you’re nearby.

Chris made our stay from the very first interaction. He was generous, kind, and always ready to help, with plenty of ideas for things to do around Ayutthaya. The hostel is kept clean and tidy, and its spot near the night market is perfect. They also rent bikes, provide bottled water for free, and offer laundry at a reasonable price.
