A few useful shops are right across the street, including a laundromat that takes cash and cards and a 7-Eleven. There is parking at both the front and back of the building. The rooms are decent. The bed can be firm or soft and springy depending on which one you get, and there's a balcony. Air conditioning works very well and WiFi is decent. The toilets are below average, though. TV channel selection varies by room. Major attractions and markets take a bit of a walk, and at some times of day you'd be better off taking another form of transport. If walking, after 17:00 is preferable.

The reception area is pleasant and the staff were very nice. My room was OK, with a large bathroom, but the bed was extremely hard. The hallways carry sound, and guests leaving in the morning woke me up. My door squeaked loudly whenever I opened or closed it, so I felt bad about disturbing people. A little oil on the hinge would probably sort that out. There's also a temple behind the hotel, so there can be noise at times.

For the price, this place is OK, and the room was clean and quiet. It's well placed for getting around downtown, though you can see signs of wear. The room could use fresh paint, and updates like new TVs would help.

I've been back at least eight times. The rooms are basic but pleasant, with good security, reliable WiFi, and air conditioning that works wonderfully. The patio is handy for drying clothes, and there's HBO Premium. One thing to know if you're sharing: the fob is needed to enter the building, and there's only one for two people.
