The hotel was so amazing it felt like time stood still. Though it’s close to the rest of the world, it also feels so far away. We arrived by boat, and they kindly let us park it at their dock.

The shared bathrooms were clean, though I didn't enjoy sharing them. Getting there was tricky, and we had to phone the hotel for directions. The rooms were amazing and very quiet. The curtains left more of the windows uncovered than we wanted, so bring your PJs. The WiFi was terrible and caused problems. The staff, who are from Myanmar, were kind and helpful, though their Thai could be hard to understand at times. They never left us waiting long when we needed something.

We had a lovely time in the garden, whether for morning coffee, dinner, or watching the sunset. The restaurant serves top-notch Thai food, and the staff were kind and helpful, including arranging boat trips to the pier. It's a unique, slow-paced place to unwind after sightseeing around Ayutthaya. A great spot for a short getaway from Bangkok, and well worth it.

We were welcomed warmly by everyone, from the owner and staff to the dogs, including one in my photo. The river view was beautiful, especially while having the food, which was one of the highlights. The authentic Thai-style house was in excellent shape and exceptionally clean. Such a lovely place for a genuine Thai living experience.

The boat ride to the resort and the scenery were lovely, and we had a superb time during our stay. The food was the highlight for us, full of aroma and flavor from authentic Thai herbs. We'd love to come back. If you're after beautiful views and five-star food, I really recommend this hidden gem.
