The one thing to plan for is that there’s no toothbrush or toothpaste in the room, so bring your own. Otherwise, I had a very pleasant stay. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Having Netflix on the TV was a nice bonus.

It’s set in a natural garden environment, and the room was clean, though small. The location is good. There weren’t many hooks for hanging clothes or bags, and sound insulation could be better because the rooms are built close together.

Skip the breakfast, it was a big disappointment. Of the six hotels we’ve stayed at while traveling around Thailand, this was the worst. Sorry, Ayutthaya, but I can’t wait to catch the train out of here! 😖

This was my second stay, and the location is still a big plus. One of the main parks with the city ruins is just a couple of minutes away. It’s a renovated guesthouse with a garden where you can relax, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable, and the price is good for the location. They can arrange breakfast, free bicycles, and massage.

The guesthouse has a cozy, intimate bed-and-breakfast feel, with friendly, responsive staff. They offered elephant and boat tours, which I highly recommend, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. But the location is the real highlight, whatever the price. Step outside and the surrounding temples and historic landmarks make it feel like stepping back into ancient times. It’s an absolute gem!
