Agoda booking went smoothly, and it’s basically a good place to spend the night, with a friendly feel and plants and gardens around. The pool is very small. There was no hot water in the shower, and they couldn’t fix it. There weren’t any cabinets, and the only place to hang clothes or towels was in the shower room. WiFi and air conditioning worked fine, and the room had a big fridge, plenty of cold water, and a hot water heater.

The place is clean and close to nature. The receptionist was especially enthusiastic and helpful with guests. I really liked the way he looked after us, and I’ll come back.

We had a lovely stay and will come back. The owners are very friendly, and the gardens are beautiful. The pool and its surrounding area are a nice place to unwind. Rooms are generally cosy and nicely furnished. Prices are reasonable, and a Thai and Western style breakfast is included. You can borrow a bicycle or walk to Phala beach in two minutes. It’s a very chilled beach, though not great for swimming, and the pier and local area have a lot of charm.

The owner was very kind to us and made a delicious breakfast. Still, the room didn’t match the photos I’d seen. On the second day there was no hot water for a shower, and even after I asked the owner to fix it, the problem remained. The room cleaning was poor too, with spider webs around the shower room corner.
