The staff made this an awful stay. They were rude, hard to communicate with, unhelpful, and completely inflexible. We said we wanted to leave 1.5 hours before our flight, but they insisted we leave more than two hours beforehand and wouldn’t listen or make any adjustment. It felt unreasonable and unacceptable. The room also seemed poorly cleaned and was very dirty. The bed was extremely hard, there’s no lift, and without any soundproofing we could hear everything from the street and could hardly rest. The airport transfer advertised as free only runs at a few set times. At other times it costs extra, and the old, uncomfortable car costs almost as much as Grab, which is more convenient and comfortable. I don’t see an advantage to the hotel transfer. For the price, this place was terrible and not worth it. The facilities were poor, the service was the worst I’ve experienced in Chiang Mai, and the advertising felt dishonest. There are better hotels nearby for less with much better service. I’d strongly advise people to stay away.

The place feels super clean and modern, and it’s good value. It’s outside the heart of old Chiang Mai, so plan on walking or using the transportation that’s readily available. Parking is limited to 7-8 spots. They were happy to extend my stay, and I’d stay here again.

I stayed a week, then added another one. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness was perfect. There’s a shuttle to the night market, shopping center, and airport, and the deluxe room has large TVs with Netflix. In 20 years in Asia, I haven’t had better service. If I come back to Chiang Mai, I’ll stay only at this hotel, even though the design looks like a cartoon.

We rang Lucky Panda Hotel yesterday at 12 o’clock to book a room and were quoted 890 baht. When we arrived today around 11, they said check-in wasn’t until 2 PM, which was fine, so we waited. But when we came back, the price had suddenly gone up to 1,200 baht. We’d confirmed the rate in advance and weren’t told it would change. That felt unfair and unprofessional. Very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The staff were kind and the place was clean, but it felt like a hostel, with just one bath towel and no hand towel. It was VERY noisy, and the bed was hard as a rock. Parking was extremely limited.
