We felt very welcome at Thara Cholapruek Resort, and the peaceful atmosphere was lovely. Khun Irene, the boss, and Miss Racha took especially good care of our family and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. As a Muslim family, we were touched that they thoughtfully arranged a delicious Halal breakfast just for us. That kind of respectful, proactive service is rare. We’ll definitely come back, and I’d highly recommend this gem in Ban Na.

The rooms were pretty nice, and you get the whole house. The place is big, so service can be slow, and there were hardly any amenities. Some of the houses also have dirty water.

It was nice and quiet, and I’d stay again. We had a three-bedroom villa, though none of the bedroom televisions worked and there was no internet in the villa. The pool was okay, but we had to ask for towels. Breakfast had plenty of choices, just no fruit.

The food is really good, and the estate could have a lot going for it with more investment in design and marketing. Our three-bedroom house, though, was very basic. There was no air conditioning in the shared area or mosquito screen, which made it uncomfortable and inconvenient.

There’s lots of parking for a crowd, and it feels like somewhere the whole family can visit. Food and drinks are available, with cafes inside and outside the building. The grounds also have a playground, rainforest, koi pond, waterfall, and a small sheep farm.
