I stayed here in 2019. It’s a lovely resort surrounded by greenery, and the staff were very nice. I’d recommend spending at least two nights.

The rooms feel modern, and the hotel has a distinctive look. Getting around on foot is the downside: there isn't much nearby unless you have a bike, motorbike, or car.

It was okay.

Baan Phraya Lanna Rim Nam is in Mueang Kaen, on the way to Mae Ngat Dam and not far from Wat Ban Den. I was especially impressed by the spacious swimming pool. There are three kinds of accommodation: raised cottages, single-story cottages, and a larger house. The rooms inside are roomy too, making this a good fit for people recovering their health or anyone wanting a proper rest. There's also a meditation space over the water and a colonial-style building inspired by Dara Rasmi Palace.

Quiet and pretty, with a nice look to it. A good choice if privacy matters to you.
