Riverside Homestay

We were able to rent a scooter easily and even extend our stay by two days at the same great price, keeping the same room. The hosts also gave us excellent suggestions for special excursions, and we went on all of them. It was a wonderful stay, exactly as pleasant as we could have hoped. Thanks again to our hosts for everything. I can highly recommend this hotel and its beautiful bungalows.

I planned to stay three days and ended up staying ten. It’s a lovely base for exploring, but also a great place to spend a few days recharging. The village is a short walk away, with an afternoon street market every day. The garden is amazing, and the restaurant area feels welcoming. The pool is large, deep, and clean, and it’s maintained with an ioniser rather than chlorine. Spread the word so other pools can be less toxic too.

We felt so at home here, enjoyed the very good food, and would love to return. The lovely bungalows sit right beside the river, in one of the most beautiful resorts I’ve seen. A paradise for anyone who loves nature.

The owners were open, friendly, and helpful, and I found the rooms comfortable with a nice bed. The decor felt a bit cluttered and loud for my taste, though that’s very subjective. After four months in Thailand, I was happy to see schnitzel on the menu as a European. Bonus points for that! It’s also one of the first places I’ve found outside Chiang Mai with a proper pool. I had a great stay at the Riverside resort and recommend it.
