Breakfast came with the room and was served by reception, with an okay range of choices. Cafe Amazon is right next door if that's your thing, and there's lots of parking on the hotel grounds. The hotel is large and centrally located, with spacious rooms and a big double bed. The bathroom was good, and although the furniture was simple, it was fairly good quality.

I stayed for a few days and found it the best hotel in Ban Phai. It's not especially luxurious, but it has what you need: a fridge, water heater, air conditioning, fully darkening curtains, and a hair dryer. Breakfast buffet was good, with vegetables, cut fruit, eggs, sausages, and some cooked dishes. Very good value for money, and I'd absolutely recommend it.

I spent 6 nights here, and the location worked well, with the train and bus stations, post office, restaurants, and other businesses nearby. The rooms are large, with high ceilings, big windows, blackout curtains and blinds. They're set back from the main road, so it's very quiet, and the air conditioning is both quiet and effective. Staff were all super nice and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Great value. A swimming pool would make this a 4 star hotel.

I was going to skip breakfast so I could get an early start, but I had a look and was impressed by the quality and selection, especially the freshly brewed coffee. I stayed overnight while traveling north. The grounds were pleasant, parking was plentiful and easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
