Jasper Hotel Ban Phai

My wife and I live just outside Ban Phai, but this visit is one we'll be talking about for a long time. The interior was lovely, everything was fresh and clean, and there was a big bed and AC. Staff were super nice and helpful. The pool is outside the hotel, so you have to go out and around to reach it, which was fine. The bar wasn't staffed, but there was a phone number to call for light food, beer, and so on. We were really pleased with the stay. 🇹🇭🇸🇪

The hotel looks modern, and there was plenty of parking. The water was warm with good pressure, and the bedding was clean. The towels were pretty worn, though. Comfortable stay in the Bhanphai area.

Getting around was the biggest headache. There was no local taxi service, so we waited over an hour for a ride to Kohn Kaen. Coming back from central, we couldn't find one and took a Tuk Tuk for a terrible one hour journey. Then, although we're checking out for just one night and returning to the same hotel, the manager refused to store two bags for one day, saying there was no room. I don't believe that, especially with the hotel not even full. That really disappointed me, and I changed my rating to 3. The hotel itself had been a lovely surprise: modern, spotless, with accommodating staff. We arrived fairly late and the room felt inviting, with great air conditioning. Breakfast was in a lovely, very clean setting. The attached coffee shop is quaint, with lovely coffee and cakes made there. This is the cleanest place we've stayed in Thailand so far, even compared with some higher star places, and I'd definitely come back.

We live nearby and still like to come here for a getaway. Jasper Hotel has modern, attractive rooms that are comfortable and clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
