The service was absolutely amazing. Locals and hotel staff were so pleasant, always greeting me with a smile, even when I passed them again and again. The rooms are fine for the price, and the location makes it easy to get around: the beach is a one-minute walk, popular pubs are downstairs, and Walking street is two minutes away. 👏👏👏

The location is inconvenient if you don’t have a car, with decent shops and restaurants about 10 km away, and the included breakfast was very disappointing and below standard. The rooms have an old, musty smell; cleanliness is acceptable but only basic. Also, this is a no-refund hotel, so think carefully before booking. Online photos and videos give a misleading impression. The supposed "private beach" is tiny, fenced off, and inaccessible to guests. What staff, especially a certain young lady, may tell you about it simply isn’t accurate.

The place is beautiful and was pretty awesome for the price, though I thought swimming would be allowed. It’s in front of a fishing area, and underwater culverts stick out of the water at low tide, so swimming is out. You probably wouldn’t want to swim there anyway. There’s an abandoned building next door, but it looks like someone is working on fixing it up. A restaurant just opened right next door. It’s a little overpriced, but the food is really good. I’m sure you’ll enjoy your stay.

The view from our balcony was superb and peaceful, and we were able to relax and enjoy it. We had a great stay. Thanks, Golden Dragon Beach Resort!

The beach area was closed during our stay, so we couldn’t really get to the water, and the pool was so tiny it barely had room for one person. The hotel is very isolated, far from shops, restaurants, or activities, so getting around means spending a fortune on Grab cars or taxis. There’s just one restaurant nearby, and it’s quite expensive. Breakfast was poor and disappointing. The rooms smelled strongly of damp, and the AC was much too powerful for such a small space. The photos don’t match reality. I wouldn’t recommend this for traveling with children. It wasn’t worth the price, especially for a family.
