The Aiyara

The gym, sauna, and pool were fantastic, and the location is great, very close to a 7-Eleven and a laundromat. The rooms were lovely, clean, tidy, and modern. Customer service gets 10/10: all the staff were friendly and helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. Special mention to the restaurant staff for making guests feel special. I’ll definitely return and recommend The Aiyara 😊👍

We really miss the hotel. The local market is within walking distance, and people in the area are very nice. Our room was really a one-bedroom flat, which was awesome, and the staff were well behaved and tried their best to accommodate guests. There was a misunderstanding about check-in time, but the receptionist was actively trying to sort it out. We’re vegetarian, and on the first day we tried Miso. We told the cafeteria staff we were Mangseverat (Vegan), and the next day they served us a plate of vegetables as well as fruit, bread, and spread. It was quite a fulfilling experience.

The room itself was okay, but what they called a two-room setup was really one room with a bed in the lounge, plus one bathroom. The pool was good, though there were a few insects and bugs in the water. We still hoped breakfast would be better, but the service was possibly the worst, and the food wasn’t any better. Everything seemed old, like it was from the day before. They said there weren’t any guests staying, which was why. I told the staff my four-year-old son wouldn’t be eating, but they stood watching us eat to make sure he didn’t. He didn’t eat because we left. The only edible things were bread and water juices. One of the worst hotels in Ayutthaya! You’d be better off at Pantry or Kameo, which is only $30 extra. Highly do not recommend!

There’s a great gym and swimming pool, and the room is spacious. A nice, clean hotel with friendly staff.
