I stayed for two nights. The room was nice and had plenty of fresh air. I’ve no other complaint, except for the older woman at reception. While I was waiting in the lobby for a taxi, she acted as though she didn’t know any of the guests and asked me what I was doing there.

The name suggests a lake view, but really you’re looking across a small pond and park at buildings. Only the rooms facing that way have any view. I booked expecting a natural lake nearby, and that wasn’t the case. The property is tucked deep into a residential area, with no restaurants nearby, so you need to take Grabs or Bolt whenever you go out to eat. It isn’t walkable, and at night the many barking street dogs make walking unpleasant. The lift looks like it’s from the 1940s and makes a horrible noise going up or down, like a mining machine. The hotel restaurant serves terrible food. Honestly, based on my experience, I wouldn’t stay here. There are much better options nearby. I’m local and would suggest finding a better place.

The area felt safe after dark, and there are some decent places to eat about a 20-30 minute walk away. Check-in was straightforward, and the staff helped whenever I needed something. The room was clean and reasonably priced. The bed felt a little firm but was still comfortable, and the AC worked well. A handy spot for an overnight stay near the airport. They’ll hold your bags for a fee, or for free if you stay the night before your departure.

I stayed one night in Bangkok. If you’re looking for a hotel close to the airport, I’d recommend this one.
