This isn't a good spot for backpackers. It felt far from the airport, and there was no one who could speak proper English to help. Pricing didn't seem consistent: if you're lucky, a single room is 650 per night, but otherwise they charge as much as they can. The room was clean enough to sleep in, though all the wooden furniture made it feel like sleeping in a box. Don't expect nice Western food, or good food generally. Hope this helps.
I stayed one night and found the staff very friendly. The service may not match other five-star hotels, but it was enough for travelers needing a place during transit. My room had the basics: air conditioning, a water heater, fridge, and TV. The online rate was accurate, about USD25, and quite cheap compared with serviced apartments nearby. Suwanna Place doesn't offer room service after 8pm, but there's a nearby market selling local food that's good and inexpensive. Thanks for the warm welcome and good service. If I travel to Thailand again, I'd definitely stay at Suwanna Place.

I've rented a room here for seven years. It's a convenient, pleasant place to stay, with friendly and helpful staff, some of whom speak English. There's security at the entrance and exit.
