Coral Hotel

The food was great, with a surprisingly varied menu for all kinds of tastes. We also had a superb room with a four-poster bed and a huge bathroom. The pool was gorgeous and had lots of shallow water for children. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

A calm, relaxing hotel that sits quietly in the local surroundings. The staff are friendly and attentive to details, and they look after the property well. The bungalows are spacious and really nice. Meals are Thai food adjusted for European tastes, and there is a kids' menu too. Worth what it costs.

We spent four nights here in a family cottage with our teenager, hoping for somewhere quiet rather than a crowded beach lined with bars. It turned out even better than we'd expected. The beach is lovely and still untouched by mass tourism, and the setting is tucked away from disturbances. The staff deserve a special thanks. They were extremely helpful and professional, even during COVID, when things couldn't run quite as usual. The food was gorgeous, actually the best menu in the whole area. This isn't a new hotel or the cheapest option, but you can see where the money goes. Nothing felt fake, just old-fashioned professionalism. The cottage has an old-style feel and was very cozy and protective. We enjoyed its private jacuzzi with a glass of Prosecco over ice from the bar, at a very reasonable price. It's a welcoming place to spend a few quiet days. There are tours available, but we wanted slow days and time to read. Having your own vehicle would help if you want to explore nearby. I'd love to return with a motorcycle and friends to look around. Thank you!

We first stopped for a night on the way to Krabi, then booked again for the return trip. It has a cozy, authentic feel, spacious rooms, a great bathroom, thick quality towels and robes, and a comfortable bed. Dinner at the restaurant had a very good selection and quality. Breakfast was disappointing by comparison. There wasn't much to choose from, and refills were slow or missing. The bowls were empty, and I couldn't get any salad vegetables. The egg station wasn't organized well either. You have to stand there waiting for your order, or you might wait forever for an omelette.
