101 Seoul Hostel

The rooftop is a lovely place to spend some time, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are so sweet and make you feel at home. For this price, it’s hard to ask for more.

I really enjoyed staying at this Korean-themed hostel. The rooftop garden was a great place to unwind after a day exploring, and the coin laundry came in handy. Everything was tidy and very clean, and the cute design made the place feel welcoming. The facilities are great for such an affordable price. Mr. K and Rita always greeted people with a smile and made us feel at home. I’d gladly stay here again, whether visiting Thailand for sightseeing or work.

There’s a night food street across from the train MRT, about an eight-minute walk in this blazing heat. The owner, MR Kay, speaks well, and his daughter Rita is there too. Most things were fine, though the water heater was hard to work out and only got mildly hot. On our last day, the air conditioning suddenly shut off at 3am.

In room 502, the queen bed left barely any room to walk around, so I think it’s suitable for just one person. The tiny table was almost completely taken up by the TV, leaving no room to eat or set down a few things. Worst of all, there was a cockroach on my pillow. The owner should put down poison to get rid of them. The bathroom water heater tripped the electric switch on its high setting. There’s no elevator, and the room was on the 5th floor. That wasn’t a problem for me, but it could be a burden for someone carrying heavy luggage.
