For about 35 euros for the whole week, it was pretty much what I paid for. The staff were friendly and even offered to wash my clothes for free. There’s a small kitchen, and the shared shower and bathroom were fine, with a nice hot shower and shampoo and gels available. My room was a hot box with no ventilation despite the air con, and I got a lot of bites, presumably from mosquitoes, I hope, and not something else. There was no internet in my room, and when I went to the office I got eaten alive by mosquitoes. There wasn’t much nearby in the way of good restaurants or shops. It’s two-star accommodation, so it is what it is.

The staff are good, but this is a budget hotel and you can’t expect much. There’s only a fan in the room, no air conditioner, and the toilet is outside the room. The shower had no hot water.

The location made getting around less convenient, so for farther places I’d call a taxi or motorbike driver. Still, I’d stay again if I come to BKK. I was there a few days, and the single room with a bed and window suited the price and had all I needed. The public bathroom was cleaned every day. The young man working there was always cleaning and attentive to what guests needed. When I found ants in my room, I told him the next morning and he fixed it right away. Very reliable staff. I think the owner should raise his monthly salary for his loyalty and hard work.

The staff were nice, and the room was small but okay. There’s a 7-Eleven right beside the hostel. For other places to eat, though, it’s a bit far, around a 15-minute walk or more. This was what I expected.
