I spent two nights on the third floor. The apartment was new and clean, with good Wi-Fi, a hair dryer, microwave, dishes, plates, and utensils, so it had what I needed. My room faced the street and could get a little noisy during the day, though it's down a soi rather than on a major road. MRT Wat Mongkon isn't far, and I am Chainatown shopping Mall has a nice food court with different Thai options.

Now that I've stayed there, I can recommend it. The place is practical, comfortable, well located, and quiet at night. When I first arrived, it was too soon to judge, but the guesthouse was nicely presented, with a friendly owner and a spacious, clean room with amenities including a microwave and mini fridge. Being near the main road meant some daytime noise, but it also put Bangkok's tourist sights within easy reach.

The area was peaceful in the morning, with birdsong first and some vehicle noise a little later. You're close to the metro and Chinatown's busy streets. The room was large, with a queen bed and a 140 cm sofa bed. The queen mattress felt a bit hard to me, though they'd put a blanket on top to soften it. Hard mattresses seem pretty standard in Asia.
