I’ve been staying at A-One Bangkok Hotel for 18 days, and I still have three days left. I’ve followed the hotel’s rules, but this holiday season, with New Year approaching, has been far from enjoyable. The Food and Beverage department has treated me very poorly, even though I tried to show appreciation with tips. I was sold an overpriced bottle of whiskey under false pretenses, and I’ve also been denied some purchases. When I asked to speak with a manager about these problems, a staff member brought someone over who wasn’t actually a manager, as I later confirmed with the front desk. I’ve repeatedly asked to meet the real manager, but that still hasn’t happened. These events have taken a serious emotional toll on me, and I feel the staff involved have contributed to the problem through a lack of customer focus. I’m asking A-One Bangkok Hotel management to listen and address this. I’d appreciate the CEO reviewing this post and taking appropriate action to investigate and resolve the situation.

It was hard to communicate even a simple request at breakfast because the staff seemed to speak only one language. The manager was rude and didn't listen to what customers were saying. Staff need to learn basic English, better manners, and how to treat international guests properly. A very negative experience.

Our Diwali morning was spoiled for no good reason. The manager kept saying he was the “Manager” and threatening to call the police over a trivial matter, without trying to understand what anyone was telling him. His temper and inability to understand English made for a very bad experience. This is a nice hotel with courteous staff, but a place serving international guests needs managers who can at least listen and communicate. The hotel, and its customers, deserve better.

The location was a little out of the way, and the public areas were closed for maintenance. The breakfast was pretty good, though, and the room was nice and clean.

The room was bigger than I expected, and both its cleanliness and the hotel's atmosphere exceeded my expectations. I also really liked the bathtub. The air conditioning was too cold when switched on and couldn't be adjusted, and the shuttle bus didn't run on time. The location isn't great, but I was very satisfied with the service.
