Admire Thonburi

The people working here are awesome and friendly. They'll arrange a taxi, answer all kinds of questions, and have even gone out with guests for a drink or to the cinema. That's a big part of what makes this a welcoming place for couples, small groups, and solo travelers. I've stayed in both a private room and a four-bed dorm; both were new, comfortable, clean, and in working order. Breakfast was tasty and had more than just toast. The area is quieter than much of Bangkok, but taxis are easy to get and the nearest skytrain station isn't far. There are good restaurants just around the corner, along with a 7eleven, barber shop, old trainstation, and food street/market. The hotel's own bar is across the street. This is more hotel than hostel, and I don't think you'll find a better dorm room in Bangkok for the price.

The staff are super nice and do their best to help. My room was very clean, and there's a small market right next door. It's about ten minutes on foot to the sky train. The center is a bit far, but you can walk there in an hour and twenty minutes.

We really enjoyed our stay at Admire and appreciated the service. The staff were great, and the rooms were comfortable, with all the equipment we needed, including A/C. Wongwian Yai, the nearest BTS Skytrain (Metro) station, is less than a ten-minute walk away, so getting into the city centre was convenient.

The hostel/hotel has a great vibe, with friendly staff and a convenient setup. There's a lively bar across from the main building, so it's never dull. Can't wait to visit again!
