Sleep With Inn

The staff were super friendly and the service was good. There's a nice rooftop pool, and the airco in the room worked well. The room is small, but you're mostly there to sleep. The hotel is on a less busy street than Khao San Road, though it can still be noisy. You can ask for earplugs.

We were there over New Year’s Eve, and the noise was still totally okay. The room was tidy and comfortable, and cleanliness was good. We could hear the neighbors a little, but it wasn't disturbing, and it was much quieter than our previous hotel in Chinatown. We'd booked two nights through Booking, but spontaneously decided to leave after one so we could keep traveling the next day. It wasn't because of the hotel. They charged us for just one night without us even asking, which was incredibly kind and much appreciated. We were really happy with our stay.

For the price, it's good value, and the location puts you right in the middle of the action without too much noise. There are very affordable massages next to the hotel and cheap laundry services nearby. The room is small but functional. The window is blocked by the air conditioning compressor, though I hadn't booked it for the view. The rooftop pool is perfect for hot, sunny days.

If you want to sleep, don't come here. My room faced a street that felt like a club, with ridiculously loud music, including the same tune for hours and lots of screaming rock music. It was a living nightmare, and the hotel seemed not to care. I paid a premium price for the worst room. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. It felt like sleeping on the street. The good reviews must be fake, or maybe they're from nightlife people who stay up until the early hours and sleep during the day. A hotel should let you sleep at night, and this place shouldn't be open if you can't.
