Alt Hotel Nana by UHG

The only drawback was the balcony facing the main street, where I could hear some cars and motorcycles. Apart from that, my three-night stay at Alt Hotel Nana was pleasant and I was very satisfied. The room was simple and clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was cleaned daily. They also brought fresh towels each day and regularly replenished the water and tea.

The room was clean and well kept, and I could relax by the pool after exploring Bangkok. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the hotel is close to restaurants, nightlife, and public transport, which made getting around convenient. It was a really nice stay and good value in a great location.

We’ve stayed here about six times a year for eight years, but we’ll find somewhere else next time. Things have changed, and the place seems more focused on profit than keeping guests happy. The door and taxi staff are great, but reception staff aren’t good. We booked a superior suite for two and were given just one key. The water bottles in the room weren’t topped up for two days. We extended our booking by two days because of the conflict with Cambodia, but were told to check out and check in again. I also saw two guests checking out who asked for water and were told to buy a bottle at reception, even though it costs less than 50p at the 7-Eleven.

This place feels sketchy, and it’s expensive for what you get. The rooms were fairly clean but need a deep clean. The air conditioning unit was dirty, and the balcony door lock didn’t work properly. Insulation was poor, so road noise came through and I could easily hear people speaking normally in the next room. It’s quite far from the main road, although there was a shuttle taxi. Staff information was kept at the desk, which didn’t seem right.
