Cha-am Pool Station

We had a good stay overall. The house was private, quiet and peaceful, and the agreement made before arrival meant nobody played loud music at night. It seems great for families, and I'd go back if I have time. The location is somewhat secluded, past a temple, and the parking area is too narrow for three cars. We nearly had trouble with neighbors after parking there; the owner sorted it out and told them to move the car since we had rented the house. Please improve the parking. The owner was kind and helpful, and the staff were too. An older gentleman chatted with us before we left, wished us a safe trip and said to come back. Check-in was quite late at 2 PM, while checkout was very early at 11:30 AM. The rooms were very clean, but I took off a star because the bathroom door was hard to close and lock, and there was no water heater. The pool had so much chlorine it changed the color of my shorts and irritated my skin. I stayed April 14-16.

We were 11 people, and everyone was happy. The owner was kind and willing to negotiate. Though the place is a little secluded, that makes it peaceful and private. The spacious private pool was clean, the kitchen fully equipped, and both the bedrooms and new air conditioning were in good shape. Excellent value for money.

I've stayed here many times, usually with family or friends. It's simple, clean and inexpensive, with a pool and BBQ facilities. The beach is 800 meters away, so you'll need to drive, and you'll also need to drive elsewhere to buy supplies, so I suggest bringing your own. Just ask the staff if you need anything. There isn't hot water, but the water isn't very cold either.

The rooms are really spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen has all the equipment, so you don't need to bring anything except charcoal for grilling and food to cook. It's quiet and peaceful, though the loudest sound is people making a big splash in the pool. Finding somewhere to hang wet clothes is a little difficult, and there are lots of mosquitoes around dusk, which is normal since it's next to a thicket. The staff are cheerful. It's not far from the beach, and getting food near the shore in the morning or evening is easy by car.
