Aqua Residences

I won’t stay here again and can’t recommend it. I paid for an extra bed after staff said one was available, but at the room door they explained it was only a thin mattress on the floor. It came with no accessories, so I had to ask for those. After I’d paid for the room, they also told me about a 500 baht deposit. I checked out at 7:30 a.m., but didn’t get the deposit back until 2:30 p.m. There’s no parking, and the only entrance and exit is a dead-end alley. Even the drinking cups were paper.

I picked the location for its proximity to the train stations I needed, and it’s also not far from the river ferry. The room was very nice, but the towels didn’t absorb water or dry me off. The replacements the next day were proper towels. I hadn’t realized cleaning had to be requested, so after a long day out we came back to find no supplies. I messaged management, and they made up for it by sending the things we needed.

We came back for a second stay, hoping for reasonable quality for the budget like last year, but the service was just as awful. The room wasn’t cleaned and the amenities weren’t changed. When we arrived in the evening, an older man was unkind and obnoxious, saying it wasn’t his business and telling us to contact management through Line. Then we were told to come downstairs and collect things ourselves. This place could be a good business residence, but that reputation is being ruined.

The room was decent, close to the train, and had a nice temple view. Staff were super friendly. The road to the hotel is extremely narrow and very hard to navigate.
