UTD8 Hotel & Residence Hotel

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel was good value for the quality. It's close to plenty of things and not too far from the BTS, with an hourly shuttle if you don't want to walk. I spent 5 days at UTD8 Hotel and Residences. The staff were welcoming, gave me a bigger room for my whole stay, and made my late check-in easy. It was a great experience, and this is now my go-to spot in Bangkok. Thanks to everyone at UTD8, I'll be back.

I really enjoyed the hotel's Zen-style garden. I spent hours reading there with birds chirping around me, and it felt like a quiet resort in the middle of Bangkok. Being farther down the On Nut Soi 8 alley also meant the surroundings were peaceful. The hotel shuttle to On Nut BTS made getting onto the BTS Sukhumvit Line easy, and there are eateries and a supermarket within walking distance. We especially liked the range of food at People's Park. My wife and I had considered a lot of places before choosing UTD8 Hotel for a week, and we were glad we did. The staff were attentive and very helpful throughout. Our room was spotless, well equipped, and newly furnished. We'd be glad to stay here again on our next Bangkok visit.

A newer-looking building with clean rooms, laundry machines, and a very basic gym. It's a residence as well as a hotel, and the price is super affordable. Staff were warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. There's a shuttle to On Nut bts, and Tops grocery store is an easy walk away. If you're working remotely, the Wi-Fi was strong for most of my 10+ days here, though I had trouble with it over the last 2 nights. It was otherwise pretty stable.

I liked the quiet room and slept well every night. The deluxe room with a balcony felt fresh and clean, the bed was one of the most comfortable I've had, and the AC got wonderfully cold after a day out. Sitting on the little balcony with coffee in the morning was lovely. The building feels secure, the Wi-Fi is fast, and the gym is decent. Staff were sweet and helpful, too. It felt more like a home away from home, and I'll stay again next time I'm in Bangkok. UTD8 feels new without costing a fortune, and the value for the price is hard to beat. It's on Sukhumvit 77, a bit deep in the alley, which keeps it away from the main road noise. A free tuk-tuk shuttle runs constantly to On Nut BTS station and Big C, so getting around is easy. There's a 7-Eleven just steps away, plus lots of good street food for a local feel while staying comfortable.
