The rooftop was a nice spot to relax, and the location made it easy to reach restaurants, bus stops, and the ferry station. The employees weren’t especially welcoming, though they did their jobs. Our second-floor room was very small and not particularly clean, and we found bed bugs. Glad we only stayed one night.

It’s right in the middle of Bangkok’s nightlife, which makes it handy for nearby bars, restaurants, and attractions. Even with all that going on, the noise was manageable and we slept well. The room is compact but kept up nicely, with fresh linens and modern amenities. A cozy place to come back to after a night out, and good value for the city center.

The French-style rooms were hygienic, and it’s a budget-friendly place. You can walk to both the water port river and Khao San Road. The receptionists need to work on how they communicate with customers. They barely speak English, so it was difficult to get things across, and they didn’t seem professional.

The room worked fine for me as a solo traveler, with AC, a hair dryer, TV, WiFi, and it was clean. I didn’t find hot water in the shower, but in Bangkok’s heat, cold water was fine. I stayed three nights mainly because it’s close to Khaosan Road, night market food and pubs, and within walking distance of the Grand Palace. The staff member wasn’t very helpful and didn’t speak English. When I asked how to get places or which transport to use, all I got was “Idk,” and no tips about what to do in Bangkok.
