The single room was compact but comfortable and clean, with a private shower and strong WiFi that worked well for work and downtime. Ms. Baby and K made the stay special, going out of their way to help with hotel matters and share good local recommendations. I had booked just one night as a digital nomad, then stayed six nights over Songkran, and I’m glad I did. It’s quiet at night but only a two-minute walk from Silom Road, with its food, bars, and late-night buzz. Silom BTS station and Lumphini Park are also walkable. The price was great value during a busy holiday, especially since other options at that rate were dorms or capsule hotels. I’d recommend it to solo travelers and digital nomads looking for somewhere central and quiet. I’ll be back!

The front desk staff were nice and helpful, but a few hours before checkout someone tried to enter even though the door handle had a “do not disturb” sign. My room was awkwardly shaped and uncomfortable. The air conditioner was right above the bed and sometimes dripped. There was a big cupboard but no table, and the place didn’t feel well maintained. Depending on your floor, there may also be quite a lot of stairs.

The hotel has been closed for months, yet it’s still listed for booking on Booking.com. Don’t book it!

There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and 7-Elevens nearby, and Asked SkyTrain is about a 10-minute walk away. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, and the shower has good pressure compared with other places. They’ve only just opened, so it’s hard to say much yet. You enter through the pub, and I’m not sure if that’ll change later. It could be a problem on a busy night.

The staff were friendly and tried to keep things clean and tidy, but there was a bit of a smell and some water damage. The room wasn’t well lit and had no TV. For under US$25, though, the location and a short stay were fine.
