Best Western Ratchada Hotel

The reception team were welcoming and always willing to help, and the hotel felt peaceful once we were inside. Outside, the area was busy with Bangkok’s usual energy, but there were local restaurants, convenience shops, and a shopping centre nearby. The metro was about a 20-minute walk away, and the airport was around 40 minutes away, making travel fairly easy. Our family found the spacious, clean rooms comfortable, with useful amenities like a fridge and microwave. A good, well-located base for families visiting Bangkok.

CentralRama9 Mall and a Lotus super market are right out of the alley, which made up for the roughly 10-minute walk to the train station. The reception team were so friendly and welcoming. The hotel feels new, and the room was spacious, very clean, and had a comfy bed. For that quality, the price was reasonable. Highly recommend!

Room 811 was clean and comfortable, and the service was what stood out most. The staff member I dealt with was really nice and had a very high service mind. The walk from the MRT was the part I didn’t like, since the road was narrow and had heavy traffic. Still, I’d recommend it to a friend for the room quality and service.

After my initial feedback, the hotel got in touch and offered earplugs, a fruit platter, and late checkout as a goodwill gesture. That was excellent service and very customer-friendly. I stayed in room 820 at Best Western Ratchada. The room was spacious, well equipped, and had effective air conditioning, but I wouldn’t book again because of the noise and the curtains. Traffic outside was loud, and I could hear other rooms and the hallway through the thin walls. Staff also made a lot of noise early in the morning, talking and clattering without much thought for guests. The curtains didn’t cover the full window recess, so they couldn’t close properly, which affected both privacy and light. The room was comfortable, but the noise and lack of proper light blocking made it hard to relax.
