Big Bird Palace

I'm very unhappy with the room cleaning. It isn't done properly or regularly, and basic supplies like tissues and toilet paper aren't provided. When I brought these problems to reception, the staff didn't respond and then became angry and very rude. I thought about calling the police, but didn't take action at the time. I hope the truth about the hotel comes out one day. Please improve the cleaning, keep basic items supplied, and have reception staff treat guests professionally. If nothing changes soon, I may take further action or post feedback publicly. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses it as soon as possible.

Fine for a night or two if all you need is somewhere to sleep, and the price feels about right for that. The mattress is soft, the AC is good, the hot water works, and the Wi-Fi is fast. There's a small veranda, a TV with lots of channels, towels and two small soaps, and a 7/11 right outside. It's a three-minute walk from the bus station. The landlord lady uses Google Translate well, and the front desk is open 24 hours. The room, though, is moldy and smells of cigarettes. The sheets, blankets, and pillow covers didn't feel properly washed, and I was itchy after a night. It hadn't been deep-cleaned between stays, with dust and rubbish in the corners. They don't provide water every day, and I had to ask at least twice before they'd clean the room.

Our room smelled bad, had ants everywhere, and didn't even have toilet paper. Nobody at the hotel spoke any English, which made things harder. The worst was that £1,300 went missing from our room during the 40 minutes we were out. I believe the OWNER took it. We reported her to the police. She said the security cameras weren't working, which says enough to me. Avoid this place. It felt filthy and unsafe, and I believe it's run by a thief.

I prepaid for a booking through Agoda, but when I arrived, the hotel refused to let me check in and told me to seek a refund from Agoda. It's been more than a week, and getting my money back has been very difficult. I feel scammed. These people should be in jail.
