The 900 baht nightly rate sounds reasonable, but it feels like a low-price lure. They find reasons to blame you and then charge fines. The female staff were very rude to customers. I had a terrible experience and wouldn’t come back. They’re cheats.

The noise made it impossible to sleep. The people next door held business meetings through the night, and with the poor soundproofing it felt like they were right beside my bed. I could hear their conversations, including work calls and their boss’s Australian accent. Sounds from their bathroom came through too, from flushing and showering to singing. There was no privacy, and I could be heard just as easily. What bothered me more was seeing plenty of empty rooms while guests were put next to one another. Maybe it was incompetence, maybe they didn’t care about guests’ comfort, but either way the stay was miserable and uncomfortable. I’ve never had a worse hotel experience. Nest N Rest is a laughable name when you get neither rest nor comfort. They seem not to care about guests’ privacy or well-being. Avoid it and stay somewhere else.

We were told the 300baht key deposit would only be withheld if we smoked in the room or brought durian into the hotel, which would mean a 2000baht charge. But when we left very early for the airport, the receptionist checked the room and said she was keeping the deposit because of small stains on the sheets. We hadn’t seen any stains, and they could have been washed out. She spoke no English, our taxi was waiting, and we couldn’t go back to inspect the room or argue. It felt very unfair to lose the deposit over such a minor issue. Guests use sheets and towels, and that’s why hotels clean rooms between stays. The hotel itself is great, but be careful about the deposit.

We paid around 900b a night and had a great stay. The room stayed clean and quiet even though it’s by the main road. The staff and maids were lovely and keen to help.
