Cassia Rama 9 Bangkok by Banyan Group

Mint and Gam made us feel welcome from the start. They’re two of the kindest people I’ve met, and they helped make the stay feel special. The hotel was lovely, with beautiful rooms, a comfortable and clean space, a great atmosphere, and service that felt thoughtful. You can tell the staff care about their guests. I had a wonderful time and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

Kao from housekeeping on floor 36 deserves a special mention. Very friendly, polite, and professional. Great service. The hotel has a fun, international feel, and the staff were very helpful and friendly while I was there. Its location in Rama 9 is excellent, with transport, restaurants, shopping malls, and a gym all close by. I also really enjoyed the rooftop pool and the atmosphere around the property.

We loved the view from the upper floors, especially looking toward the city center. Falling asleep and waking up to it felt amazing, and the staff were attentive day and night. We had a really good stay at cassia and will come again, though a few things kept this from being a 5-star experience. With 37 floors and probably around 20 rooms on most of them, a full hotel could have over 1,000 guests. The 3 elevators are quick, but don’t seem enough for those numbers. Sometimes one went straight past our floor even though we’d called it in the right direction, and the wait could be a couple of minutes. The two-level rooms also have a sleeping area upstairs with only about 2m of height over roughly 6sqm. There’s an air purifier and AC there, but I sometimes woke in the night feeling like the air wasn’t fresh. I slept on the couch downstairs instead, which was fine. The lighting was frustrating. You can’t control all the lights from downstairs, including some that are downstairs, and there’s no separate bedside light. At bedtime, it was either full darkness or full brightness. We stayed almost 2 weeks, and the good breakfast never varied at all. By the end, we stopped going. The views and staff could easily earn 5 stars, but these details matter, so I’d give it 4.

The place was spotless, with a lovely atmosphere and luxurious rooms. I was really impressed with the whole experience. Mint and Mark especially gave great recommendations and excellent service. I want to recognize the staff and hope to keep coming back as a loyal customer. Thanks to Mark and Mint for looking after me so well.
