The bed was diabolical, more mattress than springs. But this hostel is cheap for the area, and you get what you pay for. The rest of the place had a calm, social vibe. It’s not a party hostel, though we did chat with people quite a bit. There’s lots of seating, a few couches, and a TV. Water refills were handy, and the free coffee was a lifesaver. There’s a night market around the corner and plenty of places to eat nearby. You’re close to everything without the noise. Our room had no windows, which meant we slept really well with no light coming in.

The staff are the best part of this hostel. The dorm was peaceful and felt intimate, and everything was very clean with good facilities. It’s in the heart of Bangkok, with good value for the money. I’ll come back ❤️ checkcheckbro

Bring slippers for the Water Sprinkling Festival. Otherwise you’ll have to spend 100 baht, and I care about that 100 baht! You’ll also need another pair because this youth hostel requires you to take your shoes off before going upstairs. The hostel is a good choice for the festival, just one block, about 300 meters, from Kaoshan Road. It’s convenient but far enough from the noise of foreigners partying until 4 a.m. The price is 5%-15% higher, but that doesn’t seem to matter to white people~ There’s a refrigerator in the lobby, which was great. You can buy mango sweet rice and have it for breakfast the next day. Very delicious! I needed to visit Thailand for something and had always heard about Khao San Road, so I booked this youth hostel. My stay coincided with the Water Sprinkling Festival, and Khaoshan Road was really crazy.

It’s a nice spot for a couple of days in Bangkok, close to Khao San Road and Rajadamnern Muay Thai Stadium. The main attractions, including the Grand Palace and Chinatown, are about a 45-minute walk away, so they’re a bit far on foot.
