We booked three rooms, and they were spacious and clean, with an uncluttered, minimalist look and some old-world charm. The hotel is a great place to stay in Song Wat's most happening area, and I enjoyed my visit. The entrance is rather hard to spot, though. For a Grabcar pickup, I used the lanterns outside as a marker or Hor Fun across the road as a landmark.

Yaowarat's neon, food stalls, and surrounding alleys made the area unforgettable. Chinatown No.9 Boutique Hotel sits right by the lanes and street-food stalls of the famous walking street, in Bangkok's oldest Chinese-Thai neighbourhood. The location is superb for exploring, yet the room was peaceful enough for a good night's rest despite the lively streets nearby. My room had stylish, calming decor and a very comfortable bed. It almost felt like being at a beachside resort, though I was right in the city centre. The hotel was spotless throughout, from the common areas to the well-maintained rooms. From the moment I arrived, the friendly, attentive team made me feel at home. They offered local food tips, helped with directions, and made sure everything in my room was right. That mix of boutique charm and genuine warmth made the stay feel special. I'd happily return and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok.

It was our first time in Thailand, and this place made the end of the trip really special for my girlfriend and me. We were right in the heart of Chinatown, and the hotel was super clean, with incredibly friendly staff and service. We hadn't even realized breakfast was included, and it was delicious. I couldn't recommend it more. You'd regret not staying here, and we'll 100% be back!
