D-Well Residence @ Don Muang by OYO Rooms

The rooms are clean and well equipped, and the location has plenty of food choices and 7 11s nearby. For a stay at dmk Airport, this is the best hotel I’ve found, with nothing to complain about. I’d definitely recommend it. If you’re trying to save on a taxi, a smart cheap charlie can enter or leave dmk Airport via amarin hotel.

For such a cheap price, this was a great hotel stay. My girlfriend and I had no problems, and reception was helpful with information and arranging a cab to the airport. A good choice if you need to get to Don Mueng early.

I stayed one night while connecting flights. The room was clean and nice, though small, and the hotel felt secure since you need a key card to enter the building. The breakfast was simple and cosy. Shops are a bit far, so get prepared before you arrive. To avoid high Grab or taxi charges, walk across the main road from DMK using the flyover, then ask for a motorbike to the hotel. It’s easy and saves some money.

We ended up leaving around 11 pm. In room 209, the wall was damaged, water covered the floor, the closet was broken, the cups had been used, and it looked like the previous guest had vomited on the mirror. Maybe that room was just a bad one, so we asked for another. When we opened its door, a strong poop smell hit us. We tried the window, then noticed ants all over the table. We arrived late, and maybe we shouldn’t expect much at this price, but this was beyond what I could accept. I’ve never given a one-star Google Maps review before, and I feel I need to share this. Please look at the photos and videos I attached. Rooms 209 and 405 especially, please read this before booking. We asked about a refund. Agoda tried to help, but the owner said they had offered alternatives and we had declined. What offer? A room with flooding and a vomit-covered mirror, or one that smelled of poop and had ants? What next, a Chihuahua-sized cockroach and a Jurassic Park theme? I paid $17, but that’s the going rate for hotels in this area. If you set that price, the standard should match it. This was my first ditch-and-go hotel experience. At least it wasn’t too expensive, I suppose. I know I can’t get a refund, but maybe they could offer a discount next time, lol.
