Dear Sunday Hometel Bangkok

We had such a fun birthday movie night here. Thanks for letting us set up a small surprise in the room and for helping us out all the time, even when we kept borrowing things. The staff were genuinely warm and sincere. Our room was roomy, spotless, and had everything we needed, including a fridge, projector, and all the usual amenities. It felt well worth the price.

The owners sorted out our late-night arrival problem and even offered breakfast as a kind gesture. We couldn't get into the building after midnight because another guest had put the night lock on the front door. There was no staff around at that hour, so it was good the owners could fix it. The place is stylish and hip, the staff are nice, and it's near the river on a quiet dead-end street. Well done!

I had a great time spending the day out, then coming back at night to watch videos on the projector. The lighting and big semi-outdoor tub were what first drew me in, and the room was nicely furnished. Staff were incredibly kind, too. It's easy to reach the nearby BTS and piers, while the area around the place stays fairly quiet. A couple of things to know: there's no lift, so you'll need help getting a heavy suitcase upstairs. And if you leave the bathroom access open during the day, mosquito repellent is a good idea.

Dear Sunday Hometel turned out to be a lovely place to stay, clean, comfortable, peaceful, and with great staff. I can't think of a better part of Bangkok to spend a few days in. The neighborhood has loads to explore on foot: heritage spots, traditional places and newer chic places to eat, drink, relax, and shop, plus some high-end hotels and malls. There's a river pier at the end of the road, making it easy to get to the main sights. I found the area by chance, and it was easily one of the coolest parts of the city.
