Dharasom Colonial House

The staff were wonderful and helpful, even carrying our bags to the room when we arrived and downstairs when we left. The room was a good size, neat and very clean, and there was free WiFi. Breakfast can be arranged with a reservation. A 7/11 and local market are within walking distance. It's a great place to stay while passing through Bangkok, very close to Suvanabhumi Airport, with transportation available between the airport and hotel. Excellent value, highly recommended!

This is a nice hotel if you need to be near the airport, though it's far from tourist sites. Service was very good. The stay included airport pickup, breakfast, cable TV, free minibar items and a welcome drink. The minibar had water and juices. Breakfast offered continental options as well as hot food. The bathroom has a claw-footed tub.

The hotel is lovely, and the staff are even better. They were incredibly helpful, including when our flights were cancelled. The road layout makes it hard to get to the station for the city centre without taking a taxi, but if you need to stay near the airport, this is the place.

I stayed here with my family in January 2019, and I can't praise the staff enough for the help they gave us before, during and after our visit. The airport pickup to the hotel was included in the price. They also arranged a van and trustworthy driver, at a very reasonable price, to take us from Dharasom's Colonial House to Koh Samet Island. His wife was lovely too, and we ended up using the same driver throughout our holiday. It was such a good recommendation. We had 60kg of clothes to donate to my wife's family village, so the hotel stored our luggage for the five days we were away. The driver collected it when he returned to take us to Pattaya, our second destination. The staff also directed him to Bangkok's best exchange rate, without taking commission for any of these extra services. They even called the resort at Koh Samet Island to arrange a private speedboat pickup for all six of us. The staff are so knowledgeable and will help with enquiries at no extra cost. One kind employee even stayed past his hours to print information for us. They're the kindest, most attentive and helpful hotel staff you'll meet. Thanks so much for everything. We'll be back!
