The restaurant sits right by the river, and it was reasonably priced. We had easy access to the ferry, a nice park, and Khao San Road. I loved the location, though taxi drivers didn't find it easily. There was some confusion about whether our room would have a river view, which is why I chose it. The window didn't face the river directly, but we could see the Chao Phraya River and King Rama VIII Bridge, so we were happy. The staff weren't the friendliest I've met, and I was surprised the room wasn't cleaned every day. Even with those drawbacks, my experience was good. I was apprehensive after reading many negative reviews, and would definitely return. It was good value for the location, though it was still low season.

For digital nomads in Bangkok, this is hands down the best hotel. Boutique, homestay-ish places can have ups and downs, whatever other reviews say, but this one was outstanding.

The room had an odd smell and clearly hadn't been cleaned. I could hear rats running above the ceiling, and there were rat droppings on a shelf. I was meant to have a river view, but all I could see was a neglected dock that was falling apart.

The rooftop seating has a nice view of the river, the nearby bridge, and all the activity around it. Inside, the hotel feels very modern. My room's AC wasn't working very well, and it's a bit of a walk to the metro, though one of the riverboat shuttle piers is nearby. Apart from the AC, it was a great stay.

It's a budget place with a beautiful river view. There's a cafeteria too if you're hungry.
