Hotel De Bangkok

The hotel’s location made getting around easy and put key attractions within reach. The property was clean and well kept, and the complimentary breakfast had a nice variety, including several vegetarian choices. Rooms and common areas were comfortable. On two occasions I spotted a tiny cockroach in the bathroom, which was disappointing, though it didn’t ruin my stay. Checkout time is fixed and they weren’t flexible about a late checkout. They did offer baggage storage, which helped with my departure. I’d recommend it for its value and convenient location if you want a clean, budget-friendly place with a solid breakfast, while keeping those minor issues in mind.

We stayed four nights. The room was clean and good value for money, and the hotel staff were fabulous, courteous, friendly, and helpful.

Our group stayed two nights, October 16-19, during the Girls Special Thailand Tour with LTE Holidays Mumbai, and everything was wonderful. Fon and her team were smiling, kind, and professional, and the restaurant staff were especially respectful and attentive. I accidentally left my luggage at the hotel when leaving for the airport. The team coordinated through Grab and kept in touch until I had safely received my bag. That’s real hospitality. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of variety. I’d suggest booking a balcony room for a better experience. One small request: it would be nice to have a few Indian breakfast options too.

As a solo woman, I felt safe here, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had an urban room. Its window faced the corridor, so other guests passing by could make it a little loud. Depending on the room, cars outside could also cause some noise, though it was okay at night. Room cleaning was okay, the TV was great, and I loved the super soft bed. Breakfast was pretty good, with a 7/11 and massage places nearby.
