The Inn Saladaeng

You're close to plenty of street food and night markets, around a 10-15 minute walk, and the BTS and MRT are both within walking distance too. Saladaeng Inn is handy for getting around Silom. The bathroom was clean and roomy, and the bed was fine for a short visit. The room itself was clean and reasonably comfortable, though the place is showing its age. My air conditioner was old and loud, and street sounds still came through up on the 5th floor. There was a medium fridge, but no kettle or coffee in the room. The TV remote was missing its batteries. Coffee and snacks were available by the elevator on the ground floor. The reception team were warm and greeted guests with a smile. It's a basic stay for the price, best suited to someone who values the location more than extra comfort.

The staff were so kind and helpful. When I was briefly feeling unwell, they checked in on me, which I really appreciated. The rooms were clean and looked after, though a little smaller than I had pictured. Getting around was easy since the hotel sits between the BTS and MRT stations, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. I like it here and will probably stay again whenever I'm in Bangkok.

We enjoyed it enough to return for a second stay before our flight home. Mou was especially helpful, giving us tips on sightseeing, shopping, and transport that made getting around the city easier. The reception is open around the clock, and her service went well beyond what we expected. The rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the pillows were soft. Public transport is easy to reach. Thanks, Mou, for being so welcoming!

Really nice hotel in a top spot. The receptionists were polite and capable. I'd recommend staying here.
