Ease Hostel

I've stayed here twice, and this is the best hostel I've found in Bangkok so far. It's clean, cozy, and well maintained by the aunties. The metro is nearby, and Lad Phrao Central mall is a 15-minute walk away. Breakfast is self-serve, with sliced bread, jam, biscuits, instant coffee, and tea. Everyone is kind and friendly. I left my jacket behind, and they looked after it carefully and returned it to me. Another hostel is closer to food options, but this one is cleaner and quieter.

I've stopped here twice between connecting flights. It's easy to reach by metro and the main bus lines, and right next to a huge park, which is a bonus if you're a runner. The staff are friendly and the boarding is clean.

The only drawback was the walk from Mo Chit BTS station, about 15 minutes. Otherwise, this female dorm was much better than I expected. The six-bed room didn’t feel too small, and it smelled very clean. The air conditioning was cool without being too cold for me. My single bed had plenty of space, a soft blanket that wasn’t too thin, and a mattress that was a little hard but suited me. There was a curtain, pillow, blanket, hanger, towel, and its own lamp at each bed. The bathroom was clean too, with shampoo, shower gel, a hair dryer, cotton buds, and even an iron. Shared slippers made it easy to go between the bathroom and bedroom. There’s a water dispenser on the first floor and cookies available 24 hours. I’d definitely book here again if I need another overnight stay.

I enjoyed getting around Chatcuchak market on foot, and the weekday shops meant I could pick up souvenirs without the weekend crowds. The nearby parks were lovely for walks in both the morning and afternoon. It made for a great transit stay in Bangkok.
