Hotel China Town

The room was amazing, with plenty of space, and the bathroom was great too. Everything was always clean, and the staff were REALLY HELPFUL AND NICE. It's well located in Chinatown and has an elevator.

The front desk team was the highlight for me. They were so kind and accommodating, and the hotel offers 24/7 front desk support. We liked our room and spent most of our time out exploring, so the nearly unusable room Wi-Fi, which worked better in the lobby, wasn't a dealbreaker. We were on the top floor, which may have affected it. The location is excellent, just a five-minute walk to Chinatown and lots of good eateries. The rooms were modern and clean, and the beds were firm, which suited me, though not everyone may like that. We stayed in the most expensive room, yet it was still only about $75 USD a night. The front desk also handled our laundry for 900 Baht, and it was ready within 12 hours. Free umbrellas and an in-room kettle with coffee and tea were nice extras. Getting to the hotel means walking through an abandoned structure behind another building. It felt a bit sketchy, with stray cats, bugs, and sometimes a strong smell. On rainy days, the bathroom smelled of sewage, though I understand that can be common in Bangkok. There is no elevator, so we carried our luggage up to the third floor. Stair access from the street isn't secured, which could be a concern, although the rooms are locked and there are security cameras. For the price, it's hard to beat, and the staff made the stay special. If I came back, though, I'd probably pay about $20 USD more for a neighboring hotel that's easier to access and may have more consistent amenities.

The rooms are basic, but really clean, and the staff are welcoming. It's right in the heart of everything, though it can get a little loud on weekends. I'd definitely stay again.

The room was so comfortable, and the bathroom was THE BESTT!! The staff were all so nice, and they gave us lots of supplies. Definitely coming back, this place is the best of the best.
