The pool is stunning, like a quiet island amid palm trees and beautiful greenery in the middle of the city. Our room was peaceful, away from the main street, while transport was close by and made it quick to reach anywhere in town. They cleaned daily and left three complimentary bottles of water. The beds were super comfortable, and the pillows and sheets seemed new. We’ll definitely return.

One thing to plan for is the approach: the hotel sits down a small alley, reached by a one-way route from the intersection beside Ban Thai Sisuk massage parlour. Keep that in mind if arriving by car or Grab. The building seems newly built, and our room was clean, comfortable, and well organized. We’d requested a king bed and a simple honeymoon arrangement in a Park View Room, but at check-in we were upgraded to a City View Room with a balcony. The room was decorated for our honeymoon, which made the stay feel special. The receptionist greeted us with a warm smile and waved whenever we passed. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to visitors to Bangkok.

We paid 100 Baht at checkout because we were under pressure to catch our flight and didn’t want to miss it. The staff member, who spoke only Thai, inspected our room and used Google Translate to say something was missing. First it was called a “tissue pack,” then some sort of fabric bag, possibly a shoe bag. We were shown a photo of a bag with a hairdryer inside and told another similar bag was missing, but it wasn’t clearly explained what the item was. We’d told the hotel in advance we needed to check out at 11:30 pm for our flight, and this had been agreed earlier that day. The money isn’t the point. Being accused of taking something without clear proof or explanation, then pressured to pay when we had no time to sort it out, left us upset and feeling unfairly treated. The rest of the staff were friendly and the hotel itself was fine. We stayed two nights, and the checkout was the part that overshadowed the rest. It felt unprofessional and left a very negative impression.

The room felt welcoming and special for our honeymoon, and the hotel itself is modern, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. We stayed at Hotel Bangkokian from December 14-22, and the whole experience was amazing. The team made things hassle-free with kind, attentive service and clear communication. Thip (Manager) coordinated everything warmly, Freeze, our favorite admin, was easy to communicate with and incredibly helpful, and Prik made us feel welcome right from check-in. We’re grateful to the Hotel Bangkokian team for being part of such a special time in our lives. Highly recommended, and we’d love to stay again when we return to Thailand.

We slept well even though it was New Year's and the hotel was full. We heard nothing through the walls, but the noise insulation is inadequate at the door. The single-glazed windows let in noise and heat, and the room reached 36 degrees without AC. With the AC on it was comfortable, and the noise was low enough to sleep. The hotel is away from the main road, so traffic isn’t much of an issue. Breakfast was fine for our four nights, though it could use more variety. The design is nice, the people are nice, and things feel well thought out. The furniture is well planned and built, and the lighting is top notch. I liked that the switches were labeled, which should be standard in hotels. We needed an early check-in and they helped as much as they could. Very nice stay, and I’d come again.
