Nana BTS is about 400m away, which is handy. The nearest 7-Eleven is on the main road, about 500m off. Upstairs there’s a small gym, but it gets hot and stuffy, and the rooftop pool only has two sun lounges. The big issue for me was the insects. There were cockroaches and little flying bugs all over the apartment, and you’ll need repellent to avoid getting bitten in the room. The apartment is a reasonable size, but it needs a lot of improvement. Housekeeping only comes every 3 days, so a two or three day stay gets no cleaning at all. There’s a living area with a small LCD TV and no channels, though YouTube works. The table and chairs are small, and the basic sofa wasn’t very comfortable. The kitchenette has a full-size fridge freezer, two hot plates and a sink, but barely any dishes or cookware: no plates, just two bowls, two cups, two glasses, one pot and a badly scored frypan. There’s also a microwave and washing machine, but no washing powder or liquid, and no dishwashing liquid. The bedroom feels lacking too. There’s a TV bracket but no TV, a safe in the cupboard, and a bed that was too firm for my liking, with only two pillows. The bathroom is average in size, with badly water-damaged cupboards. It has a rainfall shower head and a handheld Rose, but the water pressure is weak and they only give you one tiny bottle each of shower gel and shampoo, not enough for two people. For hotel-style accommodation, this is substandard. If you can tolerate the bugs, it may do for a night or two, but there are much better places in the area with better service and facilities, and better value for money.

We’ve stayed here several times and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. The location is great, and the staff are great too. You get more living space than in a regular hotel, plus the option to make your own meals. It feels somewhere between an Airbnb and a motel.

The pool is lovely, and the shaded rooftop area is a nice place to sit back and relax. The apartments give you what you might want for a vacation at a very affordable price. It may not be a hotel, but the location is really good, right by that infamous Soi 11 and Soi 3. It’s still calm enough for a peaceful night’s sleep, with less bustle.

The apartment looked worn out, with stains on the sofa and net curtains. The worst part was the sewage smell from the bathroom drains. Since the bathroom connects to the bedroom, the odor spread through the whole place. Air fresheners were used to cover it, which made things worse. I tried keeping the bathroom door shut with a towel at the bottom, but the smell still got into the bedroom. Even the security guard came up and agreed it was bad. I’d checked earlier complaints and it seems there may be a sewage system problem, though I can’t tell if it affects this apartment or the whole building. We were on the 6th floor, and the hallway outside the three apartments stank too. It was late when I arrived, and the smell ruined the whole night in Bangkok. The apartment representative then lied to me about agoda’s refund policy. I eventually got a refund for the second night and moved out as soon as I could after the first. It’s disgusting that this is still being sold on hotel websites. Do not stay here. Always check whether a hotel or apartment booking through a website can be cancelled. If it can’t, there’s usually a reason.
