The place was noisy and unclean, and the staff were so unfriendly it felt like they didn’t want us there.

The bathroom was dirty and smelled bad, and the towels we were given seemed to have been taken from another room, which was really weird. The staff member was very unfriendly when my friend and I arrived and put us on the fifth floor. We only stayed for two hours before moving to another hotel. Worst hostel.

I made a booking, but when I arrived they sent me to The Chatbox instead. It wasn’t worth the original price and felt like a prison cell, with noise coming constantly from the nearby boulevard.

I felt unsafe after money went missing, so although I’d booked from 28th/7-30th/7, I checked out on the 29th to avoid losing more. It was in a locker in a 10-person dorm on the second floor: 4,000 Thai baht, 1,600 Taiwan dollars, and 5,000 yen. When I told the owner, he said valuables weren’t safe in lockers because another key could open them, then showed me that a key hanging in another locker could open mine. That makes me wonder whether the owner or his friends knew about it. The money was stolen during my one-night stay.
