For a low-cost, simple room, this place is good value. It’s clean, and the aircon works well, but the room is old and basic, so don’t expect a hotel-like feel or anything fancy. The owners are kind and helpful. There’s an MRT nearby, and a little food court right outside with coffee and breakfast in the morning.

Avoid this place. I requested a 1:00 PM check-in and it was granted, but when I arrived at 1:20, they said I’d have to wait two hours because the previous guest was still in the room. The hotel was also difficult to find. I paid 1,400 baht after booking a room for 700, and neither the hotel, despite five attempts to contact them, nor Booking.com ever replied. The photos look clearly retouched, and my room bore no resemblance to the listing. They call it an apartment, but it was a filthy 6 ft x 10 ft room, not worth even 500 baht, let alone 1,400. It felt like they’d taken that money from me.

Please don’t make the mistake I did and stay here. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable, and would have paid a little more to avoid it. Foreign currency was stolen from my room. They took only half, so I didn’t notice until a few hours after leaving. I’ve emailed the hotel and they won’t reply. This isn’t a proper hotel, more like a shelter, with serious health and safety problems, including water from the upstairs toilet dripping through the ceiling. The staff were also very noisy at 4 a.m. Disgraceful place.

We stayed here many times for several days during our trips in Thailand. The rooms are quite old, but they cleaned ours thoroughly every day, and we could leave our big backpack there for free when we went to Pattaya and Ayutthaya. One thing that disappointed us was seeing a few cockroaches. Apart from that, it was a perfect budget stay for backpackers. I’m not sure if she’s the owner, but an older lady always looked after us and was very nice. Her hospitality was perfect, even though we couldn’t speak with her in English. We’d recommend it.
