The rooms are really comfortable for the price, and I had a pleasant stay. If you're coming for a holiday or personal travel, I’d recommend staying here. Have a look at the different rooms before booking so you can choose what suits you.

I stayed nearly 10 nights, but I don't think I'll return after being insulted in Thai. I checked out 30 minutes late because I had a high fever. While I was packing, the ladyboy came to my room and pushed me to leave. I said I was sick, packing as fast as I could, and only had a backpack, then asked him to wait a moment. He answered, “I don't care, what's going on.” I didn't argue, but I heard him insult me in Thai. I guess he didn't realize that as a student in Bangkok, I understand Thai.

The plumbing and the water shutoff made this stay a nightmare. The shower had decent pressure, but its temperature swung between scalding and cold. The handles never seemed to land on the right setting, and the water kept changing well after I stopped turning them. The drain was so slow it backed up, leaving me standing in waste water and worrying it would spill across the bathroom. The sink also leaked from underneath onto the counter. Then the water was shut off for hours one morning without warning. I couldn't shower, wash my face, or flush the toilet, so I left while they were still trying to restore it. I don't know whether or when the water came back that day. I should've looked at Google Maps for more realistic ratings before booking. The photos seemed decent and Hotels.com had good ratings, which is why I chose it. Check-in itself was fine, and they let me in a little early because the room was ready. It looked close enough to the pictures, though a bit more dated. I’m embarrassed I booked this place. Stay away, it was awful.

People talked for a long time in the hallway or in their rooms, and hearing them outside made me feel unsafe since the door had no chain. There was a used condom wrapper under the sofa and hair in the shower drain. The showerhead holder was loose and wouldn't keep the head in place.
