Modena by Fraser Bangkok

The room view was stunning, and they even decorated it for our honeymoon, which was so kind. We felt welcome throughout, with staff always smiling, helping with our bags and sometimes coming outside to greet us. The location was convenient, with things not too far away. There's a 7-11 a 2-3 minute walk away, plus an office center across the street with good breakfast and cafe options. We absolutely loved staying at modena.

The MRT is right in front of the hotel, so it's easy to get around. There's a small 7/11 in the next building and a bigger one about five minutes away with more variety. The room was spotless and well looked after. I loved the shampoo, haha, it made my hair so soft I nearly asked for the brand, but forgot. We also asked the staff to warm up our food, and they plated it so nicely it looked like room service. We stayed Thursday through Sunday for three nights. Check-in was quick and smooth. They do take a deposit, but it was fully refunded at checkout. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and even offered to carry our luggage without us asking. We skipped the hotel breakfast to try local food around Bangkok, so I can't comment on that. We were very happy with the stay and would come back next time. Thank you!

The staff made the biggest impression on me. They were kind, professional and ready to help, always with a real smile. The property was spotless, from the rooms to the shared areas, and the service felt thoughtful from the start. A very comfortable stay that exceeded what I expected, and one I'd recommend.

The bar is pleasant and its drinks are affordable, though it's small and could be better. That's my only minor gripe. For the price, this place is a real bargain and easily holds up against most four and five star hotels in Bangkok. I almost didn't write a review because I worried it would get too popular, but that's how it is. Rooms are bright, modern and clean, and the service is friendly all around, from reception and the concierge to restaurant staff, bar staff and cleaners. The hotel is beside an MRT station, around one or two stops from One Bangkok, Asoke and Dusit Central Park, among other places. Across the road there's a mall of sorts with lots of food choices, and an office building beside it with restaurants and convenience options. There's also a nice gym, sauna and coin-operated laundry, facilities you don't usually find in most four or five star hotels.
