There’s plenty of great food right outside, and the On Nut location worked well for me. The place was clean and comfortable. If I’m back in this part of Bangkok, I’d stay here again.

The room felt new and was very clean, and it was surprisingly large for a budget hotel. The corridor is pretty narrow, though. Staff were nice and spoke English well. I booked through Agoda, which listed check-in until 23:00, but the staff said check-in was available 24 hours. Wi-Fi was good enough for a business trip.

I regretted booking this place almost as soon as I saw the room. The photos online, and even the pictures on my camera, made it look cleaner than it was. It felt dirty everywhere, and I couldn’t settle in or feel at home. I normally shower twice a day and expected to wash off after being out in the dust, but I skipped my whole routine, even the shower. I can’t believe the hotel is managed this way. This was the worst hotel stay of my life, and I’m not a perfectionist or someone who thinks every little thing is too much. I’d only booked one night so I wouldn’t have to rush before my flight the next morning. I was hoping to rest, have a decent stay, and shower before leaving. I should’ve read reviews first. From outside I was already disappointed, though maybe I was being judgmental. They did accommodate me when I went in, and the staff showed me the room, but the entrance, reception area, and room door all felt uncomfortable and dirty. Never again.

The room was dirty on arrival, with little hairs on the floor, as if it had only been partly cleaned, if at all. That’s disgraceful for a hotel claiming to offer hospitality. Housekeeping was the bigger problem. Staff insisted I leave my room before they would clean it. Even after I spoke with the manager, they still wouldn’t do it while I was there and told me to wait outside. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world, and this is the worst service I’ve experienced. It’s completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.
